As the Cayman Islands are again gearing up for one of the most important
conferences of the year, the Cayman Islands Healthcare Conference,
organisers are delighted that Health City Cayman Islands (HCCI) has
agreed to become a Premium Sponsor of the event.
Scheduled to take place from 17 to 19 October, 2013 at The Ritz Carlton,
Grand Cayman under the theme ‘Taking Care of Business: A Shared Approach
to Workplace Wellness ‘, the Cayman Islands Healthcare Conference
has already attracted serious support from a wide range of generous
sponsors, so HCCI comes on board at a time when interest for the event
is growing tremendously.
HCCI is a joint venture between Narayana Health of India and Ascension
of US. The project is the brainchild of internationally renowned surgeon
and healthcare innovator, Dr Devi Shetty. It has already shown considerable
support for Cayman’s Healthcare Conference, having twice been a premium
sponsor of the event.
Health City’s impressive project mandate will create a health centre
of excellence in the Cayman Islands, serving patients from the US,
Caribbean and other countries in the region. Phase one of the project,
a 140-bed, tertiary-care hospital in Grand Cayman as a Centre-of-Excellence
in cardiac surgery, cardiology & orthopaedics, is scheduled to
accept its first patients in early 2014.
Dr Devi Shetty, who heads Narayana Health all around the world, says
he is delighted that Health City is able to support the conference.
“We are firmly committed to assisting this Healthcare Conference because
it provides a unique opportunity to educate and update not only healthcare
professionals but also the general public on developments within the
industry,” he explains. “Our vision is to provide high quality healthcare,
with care and compassion, at an affordable cost. On a large scale
we support events such as the Cayman Islands Healthcare Conference
because they enable a wide section of the community to access vital
information with regard to their health.”
Health City joins the Cayman Islands Health Services Authority, AIS,
Admiral, Dart and Tower Marketing as Premium sponsors, while Tenet
Healthcare is the conference’s Premium Plus Sponsor. In addition,
21st Century Oncology, Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital, Cerner,
Cayman First Insurance, Surgery Centre at Doral, Cleveland Clinic,
Broward Health, the University of California – San Diego Health System,
The Wellness Centre, Cayman Airways, Caymanian Compass and Fast Signs
are all sponsors of the conference.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available for this event. To register
